i have distinct memories of my father, but a repeated scene plays over in my mind. he is hanging the laundry on the clothesline... my father didn't talk much ~ and having been born with fear in my dna, i mis-read him again and again. my primary misunderstanding {that didn't hit me until after he died} ..was that he had is own fears, worries, wants and needs. i want to hold his hand so desperately now ~ as an adult ~ and just listen to him. <3
